The Makeup
The makeup I use is a Mehron palette and Fusion Body Art split cakes, which is some of the best paint in the industry. Mehron & Fusion are both vegan, cruelty free and easily removable. The paint is highly pigmented to create beautiful, bright colors. It wears for a long time, its crack resistant, and I haven't had any kind of allergic reaction or irritation, although any cosmetic can cause a reaction.
I use a barrier spray to help prevent staining and glitter spray to make the designs pop!
Who doesn't love glitter?!
Policy
Although this is an extremely fun and exciting activity, I have a few restrictions I follow.
1. I will not paint a child's face that clearly does not want to be painted. This is a safe space and I need a child's consent before touching their face and being in close vicinity with them. I want children to know they have boundaries at any given age.
2. I will also not paint children under the age of 1. Although it may look cute, most children under this age don't really like the stimulation and don't have the ability to sit still, also they are unwilling to give consent, which falls under my first stipulation.
